Support and Aid to Latvia

ALA’s Office of Support and Aid to Latvia (SAL), was created in 1989 to provide humanitarian aid and other forms of support to Latvia.

Educational Trips

We organise educational trips to Latvia to offer young people of Latvian origin an opportunity to maintain and further develop their Latvian identity, to use and improve their Latvian language, to strengthen their ties with Latvian society, and to develop and maintain contact with Latvia.

Internship Program in Latvia and the U.S.

We offer internship opportunities at various Latvian state institutions and private companies in Latvia, as well as internship opportunities in the United States with Latvian-related organisations and institutions.
