Angel Heart Society Success Stories
LINDA
ALA has started a partnership with the Angel Heart Society, whose mission is to financially support motivated, talented, hardworking children and young adults in low-income families in rural areas of Latvia.
Linda Hirt is a 9th grade student at Ladezers School. Since childhood, Linda has been fascinated by everything that can be observed in everyday life- in particular, elements, their transformations, properties, and what can be done with them. Although Linda is only in her second year of chemistry, she currently knows more than the school curriculum requires, as during her free time, her activities are also related to this subject. Linda studies the history of chemistry and alchemy in depth, experimenting as much as possible. Her dream is to major in chemistry and further her studies in pharmacy.
Linda clearly knows where she wants to study after high school. In order to successfully prepare for the entrance exams at the University of Latvia, she is very eager to attend the School of Young Chemists, for which she would need financial support.
