Angel Heart Society Success Stories – Gustavs

Feb 24, 2023

ALA’s Office of Support and Aid to Latvia (SAL) (Director, Diāna Kārkliņa) continues its partnership with the Angel Heart Society, whose mission is to financially support motivated, talented, hardworking children and young adults in low-income families in rural areas of Latvia.

Gustavs Saulītis is a determined, motivated and talented young man who every day strives for growth. He is the eldest son in a family of four children and diligently helps the family with daily chores. Gustavs studies at Bērzaunes elementary school, where he is actively involved in both classroom and school activities. In class he is known as a leader who can be turned to for help and a friendly hand.  He is able to find ways to get any job done at a high level.

Gustavs is very energetic and curious and is interested in computer design jobs, learning much from his father in this profession. Parallel with this interest and studies at school, Gustavs attends a music school. He reveals his musical talent to his schoolmates by playing in the elementary school instrumental ensemble. But Gustavs has one more dream that he would very much like to fulfill – to learn Japanese. He believes that anything is possible as long as you have a dream to pursue. Language is great wealth and would open many new doors to future opportunities. The Angel’s Heart Association calls for support for Gustav to help him achieve more by becoming a master of the complex Japanese language!
