Angel Heart Society Success Stories
ALA Support & Aid to Latvia Office continues its partnership with the Angel Heart Society, whose mission is to financially support motivated, talented, hardworking children and young adults in low-income families in rural areas of Latvia.
David Reinieks is in the 5th grade of Īslīce Elementary School. He has well-rounded interests, is polite, friendly, helpful and very responsible. David is the eldest of three children. Education is very important to this family- broadening their horizons, supporting their childrens’ interests and abilities. It is hard to find opportunities for a family of three children living in the countryside. David has competed in many competitions receiving a lot of awards. He is very athletic, participates in the school sports club, as well as dances in the folk dance group from the age of five. In his free time he loves to read. David’s greatest passion is computers. He wants to become a computer specialist. He excels in math. The boy’s dream is to participate in the LABORATORY SCHOOL OF SCIENCE, taking courses in chemistry, physics and electronics. It requires resources that the family cannot afford. We think that such a talented and brave young man will succeed in everything he has planned. Let’s support David, help him embark on this path to his goal.
