Making the decision to move or return to life in Riga may seem challenging, which is why the Riga Council Education, Culture, and Sport Department has prepared and published “Riga – My Home. Handbook for Returning to Live in Riga”. The handbook provides information about steps you must take before moving, what you must do upon arrival, what the government provides, various key organizations’ contact information, and support systems for families.
During preparations of the handbook’s content, surveys and discussion were undertaken with non-profit organizations and diaspora representatives.
The handbook is available in both digital and printed forms in Latvian, English, Russian, and German.
