With the support of the American Latvian Association, a new, free mobile app has been created – “100 Latvians You May Know”. The app is meant for educational purposes, as well as for spreading the word about Latvia abroad. “100 Latvians” is meant as an interesting supplement for history lessons, encouraging students to search for more information about actual people, about their role in history and in Latvia’s development. At the same time, the app will be useful for friends of Latvia that are interested in the history and people of our country.
The app can be downloaded for free in the Apple App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/100-latvians/id1458514186. Currently the app is only available for mobile users of iOS.
