The Office of Support and Aid to Latvia actively supports the program “Spārno talantus”, where one of the talented young people from low-income families in Latvia who have come to the attention of the association “Enģeļa sirds” is nominated. These families are unable to pay for additional educational classes or camps where their offspring could cultivate and develop a special talent.
Ženija Nikolaičenko from Kraslava region is a talented, dedicated young entrepreneur who has already earned recognition for her achievements in her region. She is only eighteen years old, but for several years, she has been passionately developing her business idea and delighting customers with pistachios and other types of candies made from organic raw materials.
Education is the key to future success, so this year Ženija has started studies at the Latvian University of Biosciences and Technologies, Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology, in the program “Food Quality and Innovations”. In parallel with her studies, she would like to attend various master classes and learn how to make various sweets and confectionery products. These courses, along with her creative energy, should could improve and expand her product line.
We believe that the entrepreneurship and desire of young people to engage in production is a much needed talent and creates a greater perspective for Latvia’s future. Perhaps Ženija, getting more support for the development of her company, will become the founder of a very successful company.
