The call for applications for the Latvian state studies’ scholarships for the academic year 2025/2026 will be open from 1 February 2025 until 1 April 2025. All relevant information is published on the websites of the State Education Development Agency https://www.viaa.gov.lv/en/latvian-state-scholarships and on the website of Study in Latvia https://studyinlatvia.lv/scholarships. The Application form and the necessary documents for studies scholarships for the academic year 2025/2026 shall be submitted to the State Education Development Agency via an on-line application system, which will be open on 1 February 2025. The application deadline for the Latvian state scholarships for studies is 1 April 2025.
The call for applications for the Latvian state summer school scholarships for the summer 2025 will be open on 1 February 2025. Information on summer schools, where foreign students and academic staff can participate with the Latvian state scholarship, is published on the website of the State Education Development Agency https://www.viaa.gov.lv/en/summer-schools and on the website of Study in Latviahttps://studyinlatvia.lv/scholarships#summer-schools-banner. Applications and necessary documents for the summer schools shall be sent directly to the organizers of the summer schools – the Latvian universities – whose representatives will inform all the applicants about the results of the scholarship competition. The application deadline for the Latvian state scholarship for summer schools is 1 April 2025.
