This female a cappella group from Latvia is quickly establishing itself on the world stage. Latvian Voices was founded in 2009 and since then has participated in numerous international music festivals, been invited to workshops from such artists as The King’s Singers, and given concert tours globally. Furthermore, since 2017 the Latvian Voices have enjoyed curating their own highly successful annual a cappella festival in Latvia. These events comprise masterclasses and collaborative concerts with guest artists, such as “The Real Group” from Sweden.

The group has enjoyed significant success in a cappella competitions – 1st place in the Classical music category and the Audience Prize in International a cappella competition Vokal.Total in Austria; Prize-winners of International A Cappella Contest in Leipzig, Germany; Overall Champions of The World Choir Games 2012 in Cincinnati, USA.

The repertoire of Latvian Voices is vast – from a wealth of Latvian folk songs to contemporary commissions, notably by friend of the group, composer Ēriks Ešenvalds. The concerts are often supplemented with unique arrangements of well- known songs from around the world, giving each event a truly global feel.

The group is comprised of six professional singers: Laura Jekabsone, Laura Leontjeva, Beate Locika, Elina Ose, Una Stade, Zane Stafecka.
