The Embassy of Latvia reports that Latvian citizens will have the opportunity to renew or apply for Latvian passports or eID cards in Denver, Colorado on May 2 – 3. The station will be located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center, 1420 Stout Street, Denver CO 80202. Currently the Latvian government is working on legislation that will place emphasis on eID cards as a priority means of identification, and it is suggested for all Latvian citizens to obtain one. In 2019, the Embassy’s mobile passport station will also be in Cleveland, OH (July 24 – 25), Garezers (July 27 – 28), San Francisco (end of October/beginning of November).
