The American Latvian Association (ALA) this year is celebrating its 70th anniversary. During our anniversary year we are offering the opportunity to join with us and together reminisce about special events and milestones which have been key to the U.S. Latvian community through the years.
We invite you to a virtual presentation and discussion on February 14, 7PM EST – with the head of Latvian Association of Detroit, Līga Jēkabsone, legendary “Čikāgas piecīši” musician Armands Birkens, minister Aija Graham, whose congregation in Kalamazoo is rebuilding its church that was destroyed in a fire, and Una Veilande from San Francisco, for whom work in the Latvian community is part of her daily life.
