On Monday, 21\u00a0August at 19:00, the second webinar in our Mini Spotlight series will take place where business opportunities in Latvia and export potential will be discussed and the success stories of Latvian entrepreneurs in the US market will be told to promote Latvia\u2019s international visibility and economic co-operation with the US. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christopher Robinson, the US Ambassador to Latvia, will open the second seminar and outline the main highlights of the economic relationship between the US and Latvia. After that, the Mini Spotlight audience will have the opportunity to learn more about the Latvian international framework Mission Latvia <\/em>presented by Kaspars Ro\u017ekalns, Director General of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA). It is a story of our people with a sense of mission\u00a0\u2013 talented, creative and ready to seek solutions in the most difficult of situations. A significant role in this story is reserved for Latvians living abroad whom we invite to join the Mission Latvia<\/em> ambassador community.<\/p>\n

This time, Latvian export standouts will be presented by TestDevLab co-owner and CEO Erv\u012bns Gr\u012bnfelds and Printful Head of Marketing Raitis Puri\u0146\u0161. During the discussion, the participants will share their companies\u2019 journey in the US market, their first steps and the acknowledgment they have received while promoting exports. At the end of the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions online and discuss options for co-operation.<\/p>\n

\u201cLatvia has shown itself as a creative country where many new ideas are born and where businesses can offer innovative solutions. Considering our population numbers, L\u012bv\u0101ni is the world\u2019s leader in optic fibre production, and we have a rapidly growing unmanned aerial vehicle industry, relatively widespread 5G infrastructure and numerous other achievements to pitch to our potential US business partners. Mini Spotlight offers a way to keep in touch with US entrepreneurs and build a new contact network for future projects\u201d, said Kaspars Ro\u017ekalns, LIAA Director General<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cPrintful has already been working in global markets for ten years and that\u2019s how it\u2019s been from the inception of the company. Since the beginning, marketing has played an important role in the growth of our business, and that is why our team mainly consists of Latvian specialists, but with international experience. At the webinar, I will explain how we export knowledge while keeping the brains in Latvia\u201d, said Raitis Puri\u0146\u0161, Head of Marketing at Printful<\/strong> and one of the lecturers.<\/p>\n

Mini Spotlight is a series of online seminars in which representatives of Latvian community in the US will learn about the experiences of Latvian companies working with American customers and partners, companies\u2019 products and offers for the US audience to recruit new customers, and economic co-operation between Latvia and the US.<\/p>\n

The Mini Spotlight series will consist of 10\u00a0webinars taking place in 2023 and 2024. They will be conducted in conjunction with the \u00a0<\/a>Spotlight Latvia <\/a>conference which will take place in Boston, USA, from 21 to 22\u00a0September and gather companies and partners working in the biomedicine, technology and education sectors.\u00a0 This is already the second webinar, with more to follow soon\u00a0\u2013 keep an eye on The Red Jackets social network pages. Mini Spotlight is organised by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA)<\/a>, Latvian American Chamber of Commerce (LACC) and the<\/a> Latvian Exporters Association The Red Jackets<\/a>.<\/p>\n
