The ALA office will send out registration information this week, and the board will look at early registration responses and decide on September 15th if an in-person congress will have to be canceled due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resolution Nr. 2<br \/>\n<\/strong>The ALA Board accepts the revised 2021 budget.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resolution Nr. 3<br \/>\n<\/strong>The ALA Board accepts the proposed 2022 budget.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resolution Nr. 4<br \/>\n<\/strong>The ALA Board authorizes Treasurer A. Gr\u012bvi\u0146\u0161 to continue working with the Willis Law firm to study the rules of unused scholarship funds and to issue $15,000 to move the project forward.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resolution Nr. 5<br \/>\n<\/strong>The ALA Board accepts the financial report dated July 31st, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resolution Nr. 6<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ALA Board decides to offer a membership-boosting \u201cpilot program\u201d to local organizations in the city hosting the 70th Congress (Chicago). The organizations will have the opportunity to offer 2022 ALA memberships at half price to those joining or renewing their local memberships.
